In a commendable initiative to fortify academic partnerships and foster international collaboration, the Department of Agroindustrial Technology (AIT) at Universitas Brawijaya welcomed Dr. Khairil Anas Md Rezali from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) as part of their Visiting Professor Program. Dr. Khairil Anas, a distinguished senior lecturer from UPM's Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, brought a wealth of expertise to the program. Serving as the Head of the Dynamic and Vibration Laboratory, a key figure in the Sound and Vibration Research Group (SVRG), an Approved Signatory of the Mass Metrology Laboratory (MML), and a member of the High Committee of the Society of Vibration and Acoustics Malaysia, Dr. Khairil Anas is a seasoned academician.

During his stay in Malang, Indonesia, from October 29 to November 25, 2023, Dr. Khairil actively engaged in various activities aligned with the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. These included teaching multiple courses, developing teaching materials, conducting international guest lectures, participating in discussions on educational agreements, and collaborating on research and development in smart and sustainable agroindustry.

The visit also facilitated important discussions with faculty leadership, exploring potential avenues for long-term cooperation, including student mobility, staff and student exchange programs, curriculum development, and international guest lectures. The outcomes of this collaboration are expected to significantly contribute to the growth and global positioning of Universitas Brawijaya's AIT Department, particularly in the realm of Smart and Sustainable Agroindustry development.
