Two Engineering Students won Best Paper Award at iCFP 2014

Two PhD students from the Department of Process and Food Engineering, Tan Mei Ching and Norazatul Hanim Mohd Rozalli have won the Best Paper Award during the 1st International Conference on Food Properties(iCFP 2014) held in Seri Pacific Hotel, Kuala Lumpur from 24-26 January 2014. 

Both have won the award under the category of Food Properties Predictions, Modeling and Control with paper title “Aerated Properties of Ultrasonic Treated Whey Protein Foam for Cake Making” by Mei Ching while Norazatul’s paper entitled “Effect of Particle Size Distribution of Natural Peanut Butter on Its Dynamic Rheological Properties”. 

This first international conference on food properties is the first of its kind and has 214 paper entries from 25 countries. The certificates were presented by Prof. Mohammad Shafiur Rahman, Chief Editor of International Journal of Food Properties during the event.
