Department members and Faculty of Engineering Management personnel were facing COPPA Audit

On January 28, 2019, the Department of Aerospace Engineering has been scheduled to face the Study Program Audit, the Code of Practice for Program Accreditation (COPPA). The audit aims to ensure higher education in accordance with a set of guidelines, standards and codes of practice guided by the MQF to help higher education providers improve their academic performance and institutional effectiveness. The audit took place from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm attended by 3 panels namely, Also present in this activity is the Center of Quality Assurance.

In this session, the panel met with PTJ management delegated by the Deputy Dean of Graduate Studies, namely Prof. Madya Dr. Mohd Fadlee A. Rasid, conducts interviews with program speakers, program students, administrative staff and support, checks and records documentation, visits the facilities provided by the PTJ for the program, sample the practice and finally prepare a draft report for the closing ceremony. 

The COPPA Audit Program Department is coordinated by Dr. Noorfaizal Yidris and assisted by the program members who were present, Prof. Madya Ir. Dr. Kamarul Arifin Ahmad, Dr.Mohammad Yazdi Harmin, and Dr Mohamad Ridzwan Ishak. 

Faculty expecting the audited program will full fill the required standard according to Code of Practice for Program Accreditation (COPPA) which is set and continues to excel in delivering the best services to UPM.
