5S POLICY

We, the staff of the Faculty of Engineering UPM are committed towards excellence through acculturation of 5S to create a quality working environment

5S DAY

All administrative staff will be doing 5S activities at 3pm to 5pm every Friday.

5S OBJECTIVE

1) To produce workers with high-quality services.
2) To minimize the cost of production and services.
3) To ensure fast and accurate service to satisfy customer expectation.
4) To ensure regular maintenance in working environment to keep it  safe and comfortable.

5S GOAL

1) To obtain 5S recognition in administrative scope

2) To become a role model to other entities in UPM

3) To create good teamwork among staff in the faculty

4) To support UPM aims towards Prime Minister's Quality Award (AKPM)
